Anthony Parker - Physical Education

Coach Parker was born in Alabama, but moved to Arizona when he was 5 years old. He graduated in 1984 from McClintock High School in Tempe earning 7 letters in football, baseball, and track. He received an athletic scholarship for football to Arizona State University where he was a starter for the Sun Devil football team all 4 years. Coach Parker graduated from ASU with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education, and went on to play 9 years in the NFL. After retiring from the NFL, Coach Parker owned and operated Fast-Twitch, an athletic facility, for 5 years.

Twenty-five years after graduating from college, Coach Parker is finally doing the two things that he has a passion for, teaching and coaching. He is the 5th - 8th grades boys PE teacher here at Cambridge Academy and also coaches high school football at Hamilton High School.

Coach Parker is married with two boys, both football players. His father, Billy Parker was also an athlete, playing baseball professionally in the 1970's for the Angels and the Yankees. Outside of teaching and coaching, Coach Parker enjoys traveling, working out, playing golf, and watching football on Sundays.
